'It is certainly the creation of this program on Barbara's songs that resonates the longest in the heart and leaves images etched in the memory. Thanks to a resolutely modern dance, the young British choreographer Morgann Runacre-Temple puts the right gestures to Barbara's words. With great fluidity, she draws the dancers into a cozy atmosphere that suits the singer well. She creates an ambiance, delivers emotions, provokes the meeting of body and mind. The interpretation of "Du bout des lèvres" is simply magnificent. The idea of having the dancers evolve to an instrumental version of "Nantes," superbly performed on the piano by Christophe Larrieu, is the best way to tell this intimate story. The only disappointment is that it all goes by too quickly. To leave nothing to chance, the choreographer was only able to have the dancers work on five songs out of the seven initially planned. She could therefore return next season with a longer version... Fingers crossed.' LA DEPECHE
